I am a substantive Consultant Paediatrician at the James Paget University Hospital (JPUH) in Gorleston. I have 15 years of dedicated paediatric experience in hospitals across Norfolk, Nottingham, Yorkshire and India. My practice is centered on child safety and empathy, ensuring that every family receives the expert clinical care and gentle reassurance they deserve throughout their child's healthcare journey.

Reassurance
Many parents come to me for reassurance. While many of us will put up with our own health issues, when it comes to the health of our children we often think very differently. Any parent who has ever worried about the health of their child will know the sleepless nights that this can lead to. That's why many parents come to see me for reassurance. To be properly reassured you must be confident in the abilities of your Paediatrician. Most of the private patients come for only one or two visits and they will see me every time. I aim to offer consultations as promptly as possible following your enquiry.

I manage a vast array of paediatric concerns, including asthma, respiratory health, stomach pain, reflux, constipation, developmental growth, sleep issues, and various other common medical conditions. Beyond my general paediatric practice, I maintain a specialist interest in paediatric neurology and epilepsy. I offer dedicated support to parents and children dealing with complex concerns, such as fits, faints, and funny turns, always prioritizing a calm, clear, and reassuring medical environment for every patient.

I am fully registered with most major insurance companies, so obtaining approval is typically straightforward. It is advisable to discuss the coverage of diagnostic tests with them beforehand. Additionally, please verify if your policy includes an excess fee, as this represents a specific portion of the bill that you will need to pay personally.
